Yamaha’s YSL354E Bb tenor trombone is the most popular student trombone on the market. It has been the industry favourite for many years and is frequently recommended by brass teachers. Despite its affordable price tag, this trombone exhibits a whole host of professional features that can’t be found on any other entry level instrument.

The YSL354E is constructed from sturdy pressure-formed yellow brass with an extra durable chromed nickel silver inner slide. Like all Yamaha instruments, every component of this trombone is precisely engineered to provide a consistent response, and the weight has been carefully balanced to make it comfortable to hold for long periods of time.

One particularly notable detail is the laser fused 8” bell. Its seamless welding means an absolutely even vibration at any volume, and this reliable resonance in partnership with the versatile medium 0.5” bore makes the trombone a pleasure to play. A gold brass lead pipe allows for greater control of intonation and tubular braces also serve to enhance the instrument’s overall stability.

Outfits include a protective hard case with moulded interior and detachable shoulder straps. A Yamaha SL-48S mouthpiece is also included along with slide grease and cleaning materials.
