Superb value portable digital piano model from Roland with a host of great features
Please select instrument options
A superb value model in the lineup from Roland, replacing the compact F-20 model. With an 88 note graded hammer action keyboard, the PHA-4 with ivory feel the FP-30 offers a better touch than anything else in its class and it also shares the piano sound engine with the top end HP and LX models. A 1 track record facility and Bluetooth connectivity as well as USB to device and host makes the FP-30 a versatile instrument that is a great choice of portable instrument for the home or school use. The one downside is the lack of audio outputs, only the headphone jack serves as an audio output so if this is a consideration it may be worth looking at the next model up in the range, the ever popular FP-60.
Superior Sound and Touch That Satisfies the Most Experienced Pianists
Incorporating Roland's acclaimed SuperNATURAL sound engine the FP-30 delivers a natural and expressive sound, what Roland describe as an authentic piano experience allowing the detailed articulation and response required by experienced pianists. The sound is delivered by a powerful onboard speaker system which along with its newly developed key action with ivory feel and escapement makes it truly a class leading instrument.
Highly Portable for Life on the Move
The FP-30 is available in a choice of white or black finishes, and its modern, elegant look makes it a welcome addition to any room. Designed to be ideal for domestic users, teachers and performers alike the FP-30 is compact and light yet without sacrificing playability, the goal being to produce a pro level instrument that is incredibly mobile. For those who don't require immediate portability an optional fixed stand and pedal unit is available, providing a traditional configuration without the large footprint taken up by an acoustic upright piano. This optional pedal unit can be assigned to hands-free turning of digital sheet music when used in conjunction with tablet apps such as piaScore and Sheet Music Direct - Roland has really thought of everything!
Powerful Digital Advantages for Learning, Creativity, and Enjoyment
A modern digital piano has many advantages over an acoustic instrument and the FP-30 is no exception with a range of instrument voices and rhythms to make practice sessions fun. Two sounds can be layered together and the keyboard split too, and even into two 'separate' pianos for duets or side by side teaching. The piano is equipped with Bluetooth enabling you to use MIDI music apps on mobile devices, and USB support enables you to play along with favourite tunes from a memory stick and save recordings captured on in built record facility.
