What we think of the Yamaha PSREW410

The Yamaha PSREW400 is based on the popular PSRE453, but with a much longer 76 note keyboard. This enables the instrument to be played much more like a piano without running out of keys, particularly in the bass. As such the PSREW400 is an ideal second instrument for the pianist, and with full MIDI compatibility could be used to input piano parts into sequencing software. Unlike the smaller PSRE453 it has L+R/R outputs so that it can be plugged in to a PA system, making it a useful gigging instrument too. With 2 x 12 watt amplifiers the sound is clear and rich, and in addition to piano there are 755 instrument voices covering a huge variety of instrument types from around the world. There are 200 preset rhythm accompaniment styles for building your own arrangements, along with an arpeggiator with 150 presets. Record your performance onto the in-built 5 track sequencer and save it to a USB memory stick to transporting it to school or college, or use it to play back MIDI files through the keyboard. With Yamaha's DJ function you don't have to be a musician to enjoy the PSREW400, and it can teach you to play via the intuitive 3 step lesson system. A great keyboard and a worthwhile upgrade from the PSRE453.
