Named after a mischievous spirit in Trinidadian folklore, the Jumbie Jam steel pan is a perfect introduction to the sounds of the Caribbean. The pan is machine pressed from a single sheet of premium steel before being hand hammered into fine tune and features a major scale from G47 to G59. The pan measures 40cm in diameter and has a 6.5cm depth skirt.

The JJ3050 model is supplied with a modular, fixed height table top stand which can be used on any flat surface and is ideal for classroom use. The instructional leaflet includes information on the history of steel pans, playing tips and care instructions as well as 3 songs notated in letter names. Further books are available, both in letter and traditional notation formats and supplied with backing track CDs.
