Description

The JP074 is a full size Bb non-compensating euphonium with 11" bell and 0.571" (14.5mm) bore. Made from yellow brass and built to last, its robust construction has made it popular as a sturdy and reliable student instrument.

This model is specially designed for beginners and is excellent value for money. It features a thumb hook support and lightweight open wrap layout. Intonation is excellent, and the tone is particularly good at the top end, but the lack of a compensating system or fourth valve means that the very low register is not completely chromatic.

All John Packer brass instruments come with a mouthpiece and professional quality lightweight case.

The rose brass leadpipe enables a full and dark sound to be produced by any standard player.
