Full sized nylon string classical guitar for beginners
The C70 is a full size Spanish style classical guitar with nylon strings designed for beginners. Yamaha’s experienced luthiers have managed to imbue the instrument with a capable tone and easy playability that make it superior to most other entry level guitars despite its modest construction materials. This makes it the ideal starter instrument for aspiring musicians with a limited budget. Its body is built from meranti wood (sometimes known as Philippine mahogany) with a resonant laminated spruce top that features stylish colourful decoration around the sound hole. Harder nato wood is used for the neck to reduce the chance of warping or cracking, and both the fingerboard and bridge are made of durable rosewood. The headstock exhibits reliable plastic pegs and gold plated machine heads to ensure a long lasting tuning mechanism, and the whole guitar is finished with an attractive coat of gloss. Like most full-sized classical guitars, the C70 has 18 frets on its fingerboard giving it a total range of E2-B5 when in standard tuning (not including harmonics). It comes strung with nylon strings and is ready to play straight out of the box. Please note: this listing does not include a case or any accessories.
