Full sized nylon strung guitar for beginners
The Admira BM1957N Almeria has long been recognised as the very best entry-level full size classical guitar on the market. It has won several industry awards thanks to its superb tone and is consistently recommended by teachers owing to its reliability and extraordinarily good value for money.
Unlike most other starter instruments, the Almeria guitar’s body is made entirely of solid tonewood panels which provide a much sturdier feel, improved sound projection, and a more distinguished tone. The crucial top soundboard is a piece of Oregon pine, a wood very similar to the more expensive spruce, and the back and ribs are made from sapelli mahogany.
These quality materials combined with the Spanish luthiers’ traditional building techniques, eye for detail, and years of experience result in an astonishingly capable guitar with a clarity and richness of tone that normally costs 10 times as much.
Another hard mahogany substitute, samanguilla, is used for the neck and the whole guitar is finished in an attractive gloss coat. The neck features a 19 fret smooth mongoy fingerboard that has been optimised for intonation and sustain, and is extremely comfortable to play.
A set of D’addario nylon strings is fitted as standard and can be tuned using the strong lyre design nickel machineheads, but please note: no case or other accessories are include.
