Full size Spanish guitar for young players
Admira’s Malaga is an entry level 4/4 full-sized classical guitar with a specially designed shallow neck ideal for young students. Like all their guitars, this model is handcrafted in Spain by experienced luthiers using traditional techniques, and its intonation and action are thoroughly checked before leaving the factory.
Its solid cedar top provides the instrument with a clear and good projection across its whole range, while beautiful sapelli back and sides add resonant depth. The sound hole is encircled by a colourful pattern and the whole body is coated with a classic gloss finish.
The unique neck is thinner and flatter than the deep rounded design of that on a normal classical guitar. This shallow design makes the instrument extremely easy to play, particularly for those with smaller hands, without sacrificing the fuller tone of a full-sized guitar or training learners to get used to a narrower width or smaller distances between frets. It is constructed from samanguilla, an inexpensive wood that is very similar to mahogany, and features a smooth mongoy fingerboard with 19 frets.
Each guitar is strung with high quality D’Addario nylon strings and their tension is held by a durable rosewood bridge at one end and lyre design nickel machineheads at the other. Please note: no case or accessories are included with the instrument.
