The Pearl 505RE is a great instrument for beginners and the progressing player. Featuring a silver plated body and fittings, the 505RE is a great sounding instrument with a built quality that will last you well into your development as a flautist.

This instrument also features French pointed arms, which is an industry first a beginner model flute. Open tone holes are also usually found on more expensive professional models, however the 505RE includes these allowing the novice player to build their technique. However, if the player would rather start with closed holes they can plug them with rubber inserts and transform the instrument into a closed hole system.
