Musical instrument hire with the option to own
Uniquely designed with the hammer action of a real acoustic piano

Casio has teamed up with Bechstein, the German manufacturer of fine acoustic pianos, to produce the Grand Hybrid digital range. The results of this collaboration offer the refinement and playability of an acoustic grand, along with the hassle-free maintenance and convenient advantages of a digital instrument.
Its action has been specially designed to feel just like that of an acoustic piano to enable musically expressive performances. A hammer simulator mechanism replicates the exact weighting and balance of a Bechstein grand piano’s components. The 88-note keyboard features Austrian spruce keys whose touch sensitivity can be adjusted to 5 different levels or switched off altogether.
The main piano sound, Berlin Grand has been meticulously sampled from C. Bechstein's flagship D282 grand, an the GP300's powerful amplification system reproduces its rich resonance perfectly. Players can choose from two additional famous European piano sounds: Vienna grand and Hamburg grand along with the usual selection of electric pianos, organs, harpsichords, and string patches. Casio's Acoustic Simulator has been borrowed from their standard range, allowing pianists to adjust the damper, string, and hammer resonances produced by the acoustic piano, and even change the position of a virtual lid.
Grand Hybrid digital pianos have found favour with many of the UK's most respected music teachers and performers and come highly recommended. One of these instruments would make an excellent alternative to a small upright piano for those with limited space or low budgets, and of course can be played late at night without disturbing the neighbours!
Other features include a 16-track record facility with USB audio, a large library of play along songs, basic training lessons, adjustable transposition and tuning, layer/split/duet voice modes, digital reverb and effects, and a built-in metronome. Four separate amplifiers and 6 speakers are arranged to produce the clearest sound possible, but the GP-300 can also be plugged into larger PA systems via its line out ports (mono or stereo). As well as these, the I/O panel features 2 stereo headphone outputs and MIDI ports.
