Three quarter sized Spanish guitar for young students
As its name suggests, the Admira BM1955 Infante classical guitar is designed for young and small players who cannot comfortably navigate a full-sized instrument. It's 3/4 of the size of a normal guitar but sounds as good and plays as well as Admira’s larger models. Like all their authentic Spanish guitars, it is handcrafted at their famous workshop in Zarautz by experienced luthiers using traditional techniques.
Despite its small stature, the Infante produces a mature and resonant sound with plenty of tonal nuance to satisfy learners until they are big enough to upgrade to full size. The hollow body’s top is made of laminated Oregon pine, a cheaper alternative to the solid spruce used on the rest of Admira’s classical guitars, and it is fixed atop a durable sapelli shell.
The Infante’s neck is slimmer as well as shorter than a full sized guitar making it easy for small hands to play. It is made from hard samanguilla wood with a smooth mongoy fingerboard that features 19 frets. The bridge is also made from mongoy and has been carefully shaped and placed to maximise sustained transmission to the soundboard.
Each guitar is finished with a shiny coat of varnish and is fitted with a set of D’Addario Classic nylon strings which can be tuned using the lyre design nickel machineheads.
